Supervisor

Deputy Supervisor: Kenneth Hassett

The Town Supervisor performs many roles. She serves as presiding officer at meetings of the town board and also votes on matters with the other members of the Town Board. The Supervisor serves as Town Executive and Administrator and represents the Town of Rosendale in the Ulster County Supervisors’ Association. The Supervisor is the chief fiscal officer of the town and represents the town in all fiscal matters including overseeing the preparation of the budget. The Supervisor is elected to a four year term.

Her bookkeepers, Donna Fong & Taylor McGrane, are responsible for recording and accounting all the financial activities of all town government operations and reports including, but never limited to: recording department revenues and expenditures, monitoring financial activity compared to the budget, reviewing all vendor claims, recording the employee payroll and benefits and preparing financial reports for all the departments as well as the State.

Her assistant, Jill La Fera, is responsible for maintaining the supervisor’s files, answering telephones and resolving questions or directing caller’s to the appropriate party, drafting resolutions for town board review, typing all correspondence, memos and reports and any other activity deemed necessary by the Supervisor.
