Rosendale Tax Information

ATTENTION ROSENDALE TAXPAYERS

The 2022 tax bills were mailed 1/5/22.

Please note that due to COVID we are strongly encouraging residents to mail their tax payments or leave in our locked drop box.  
Taxes may be paid in full or equal half amounts (as described on your tax bill) on or before Feb. 4th, without interest.
On all taxes paid after that date interest will be added at a rate of 1% for each month until June 1st.
If you do not receive your taxes by the middle of January please call the office so we can send or email you another copy.
How can you pay your 2022 county/town taxes?

Mail Option:
Place your check and tax payment slip (found at the bottom of your tax bill) in the mail and send to: Town of Rosendale Tax      Collector  1915 Lucas Avenue Cottekill, NY  12419.
All checks must be made payable to: Tax Collector.
Check must include a telephone number in case we need to contact you.
Forms of checks accepted: personal, cashier/bank or postal money orders.
A receipt will be mailed to you at a later date.

Drop Box Payments:
We have a drop box located outside of the Town of Rosendale Town Clerks office. If using this option:
Please put your check and tax payment slip (found at the bottom of your tax bill) in a sealed envelope, addressed to Tax Collector.
Check must include a telephone number in case we need to contact you.
Forms of checks accepted: personal, cashier/bank or postal money orders.
A receipt will be mailed to you at a later date.

Cash Payments:
We are discouraging all cash payments at this time. You can get a money order from the Post Office or a cashiers check from your bank.
