Public Hearing July 14, 2021 Wastewater Improvements

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

 

A public meeting of the Town Board of the Town of Rosendale, Ulster county, New York, shall be held at the Town Hall, in Cottekill, New York, in said Town, on the 14th day of July, 2021, at 5:30 P.M., Prevailing Time (or by video conferencing if permitted by law), to consider a plan and report, including estimate of cost, including a revised estimate of cost, relating to sewer system improvements, to serve a benefitted area in said Town known as Sewer Improvement Area, whose boundaries shall consist of those attached to this notice, and to hear all persons interested in such matter.

 

The capital improvements proposed in connection with the establishment of the sewer improvement consist of wastewater treatment plant improvements, as well as incidental expenses in connection therewith, at a revised maximum estimated cost of $5,300,000 (an increase of $2,771,000 to that previously approved) which shall be authorized to be financed by the issuance by the Town of Rosendale of its serial bonds with a maximum maturity not in excess of the forty year period prescribed by the Local Finance Law.
