TAX CAP OVERRIDE
LOCAL LAW #6 2024

 

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE the Town of Rosendale

will hold a public hearing on November 6, 2024

at the Rosendale Municipal Building, 1915 Lucas Avenue,

Cottekill, NY, to consider the advisability of adopting a Local Law,

which must be in effect, to override the mandated

tax levy limit established in General Municipal Law § 3-c

in the event of costs of increase in healthcare, insurance, ambulance service,

bond payments, state mandated salary increases, increased New York State Retirement,

contract settlements for Police Benevolent Association & Teamsters and decrease

in mortgage tax.
