IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING SENIOR CITIZEN AND DISABLED PERSONS EXEMPTIONS

The NY State Legislature has recently passed legislation which waives the requirement for property

owners who are receiving the Senior Citizen and Persons with Disabilities and Limited Income

Exemptions from filing Renewal Exemptions for the 2021 Assessment Roll.  Since you do not

need to file a renewal application, your Exemptions for 2021 will be the same as the 2020

Exemptions. If there has been a reduction in your income you do need to file the Renewal Application

so that you can receive a greater reduction in your taxes.  If you have any questions, please contact
